Food Waste Reduction Interns Needed

The Sustainable Food Collaborative has been given the opportunity to utilize 20K from Small Potatoes grant funding in high yield ways in order to reduce food waste, improve security, and have a measurable impact in the realm of reducing food waste and food insecurity on grounds. The Small Potatoes Grant Allocation Team has been working hard to develop positions set on creating tangible impact reducing food waste and food insecurity on grounds. This upcoming semester five paid positions are open to the student body that include: 

1. Collating and Food Waste Metrics Intern

2. UVA Source Reduction Intern

3. Food Donation Intern

4. Composting Intern

5. Community Partnerships Intern
