The 7th annual 21-Day Racial Equity Challenge begins next week on April 5 and goes through April 25!  Its origins are in food system racial equity, but it has expanded across the country, attracting people from all walks who have found it helpful and rewarding.

About the Challenge: “During every morning of the Challenge, you'll receive an email "prompt" with a short reading, video or audio file. You are encouraged to take about ten to fifteen minutes each day with the material in the prompt, though we will provide extra resources in case you want to dig further into the day's topic. You have the option to log into our online forums (links will be provided) if you'd like to discuss the prompts in a supported and moderated environment. We also encourage you to share your experience on social media using the hashtag #FSNEEquityChallenge.”

Tanya Denckla Cobb and Laura Brown from the SFC will be co-anchoring three Friday mid-day lunch discussions for the upcoming 7th annual 21-Day Racial Equity Challenge. The invitation extends to the Sustainable Food Collaborative members and their colleagues. If you’re interested in participating, you can sign up for the 21-Day Challenge to receive the daily prompts. It’s free, and a very small commitment every day of about 15 minutes, to build a new habit. If you’re interested in joining these three lunch hour discussions with other Food Collaborative members, you can join one or all three.

Email yz3pz@virginia.edu if you have any questions or want the zoom link for the lunch discussions.
